Unity MLK Day Concert (Online)
Celebrate Peace!
Unity Worldwide Ministries will livestream an online Martin Luther King Day celebration featuring New Thought artists, including Rev. Sandra Campbell, Redahlia Kilson, Misa Malone, John Stringer and Eddie Watkins Jr., plus a compilation of musicians singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing”. Speakers during the concert will include Rev. Kathy Beasley (senior manager of the Unity Prayer Ministry), Rev. Sandra Campbell (executive director of Unity Urban Ministerial School) and Emanuel Walker (digital strategy manager at Unity World Headquarters), who will talk about the history of the songs and their impact on the Civil Rights Movement. Join us in the Chapel for a series of special spiritual events! We have several activities planned, and will be projecting Unity Worldwide Ministries' livestream of their annual celebration.
4:30 pm Heartfulness Meditation, Cady Room
5:30 pm Heartfulness Meditation, Cady Room
6:00 pm chanting, crystal bowl sound bath, songs of love/peace/healing, candle lighting, and sharing of food
8:00 pm live-streamed concert direct from Unity Village, featuring Karen Drucker and Michael Gott
