Unity Goes Back to SchoolThis summer, Unity of Bloomington is collecting school supplies to support low-income families in our area. There are two ways for you to participate. First, you can shop for supplies on the list below and then bring those supplies to the church. We will have a drop off station set up in the lobby outside the chapel through Aug 29th. Second, you can help deliver the supplies. We will be delivering the supplies during the week of Aug 30th. More details will be coming out about this in a few weeks.
Supplies Needed (most urgent): Kleenex, Pencils, Markers (Crayola Classic washable), Erasers, Colored pencils, Construction paper, Dry erase markers, Spiral notebooks (wide ruled), Folders, Dry erase boards (small for individual use), Pencil tips, Drawing paper, Copy paper (white)
Other Supplies Needed: Batteries - AA (4 pack); Clipboards; Compasses; Composition Books (wide ruled); Crayons (24 count); Fiskars Scissors (round and pointed); 5-pack Tab Dividers w/ Pockets; Elmer's Glue Sticks, Rubber Cement; Highlighters; Index Cards; Ink Pens - Red, Green, Black; Loose Leaf paper (wide ruled); Multiple Pocket Organizer or Trapper/Keeper; Page Protectors; Pencil Pouch or Box; Post-It notes; Protractors; Rulers; Scotch Tape - clear; Sharpies - Black fine or extra fine point; Viewbinders - 1"; Ziplock Bags (gallon/quart/sandwich).

Food First Sunday
The first Sunday of each month, bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Monroe County United Ministries Food Pantry. Leave donations in the bins by the south door on the lower level.
Adopt a Pet
The first Sunday of each month, Dr. Jo Liska of Bloomington Animal Care and Control introduces us to a dog in need of a loving home. If you are interested in adopting one of these pets or volunteering, call the shelter at 349-3492
